It can be hard to stay motivated when your body feels stiff, your mind feels overwhelmed, or past injuries hold you back. You want to move, feel strong, and reach your goals—but something keeps getting in the way.
Suncoast Pilates will help you get the movement your body is craving.

A Workout You'll Actually Enjoy
Pilates offers a refreshing, low-impact workout that strengthens and tones your body without the intimidating machines or repetitive routines of a gym. In a group class, you’ll enjoy supportive instruction, fluid movements, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes exercise feel rewarding—not like a chore!

Postural Alignment and it's Connection to Pain
Poor posture puts constant strain on your back, neck, and joints, leading to discomfort, stiffness, and even chronic pain. Pilates focuses on postural alignment, core strength, and balanced muscle engagement, helping you stand taller, move better, and feel relief from daily aches. When your body is properly aligned, pain fades, movement feels effortless, and you build strength where it matters most.

Find your Pilates Tribe
Pilates isn’t just about movement—it’s about connection and support. Staying consistent is easier when you have a supportive community by your side. In a group class, you’ll be surrounded by like-minded people who uplift and motivate you, making fitness more enjoyable. Find your Pilates tribe and make fitness something you look forward to!

FAQs
I have done Pilates previously, can I jump right into a class?
Yes! Actually, whether you have expirience with Pilates or not, you can jump right into group class. If you are a beginner, make sure you register for an Essentials class 😊
How big are your group classes?
Our classes are currently limited to 12 clients.
Where are you located?
Our address is:
2710 Alternate 19 N
Palm Harbor, FL, 34683
Suite 203
We are located next to “Divine Ceramics” and just a few doors down from “Adorable Nails”. Look for a large wooden deck and a lighthouse and you’ll see us 😊
Are group classes always conducted on the reformer?
The reformer is the most common apparatus used in group classes, but we often incorporate other traditional Pilates apparatus such as the Tower and the Chair. We pride ourselves on remaining true to traditional Pilates while also creating variety and challenging group class participants in a fun, level-appropriate way.

I am dealing with injuries/physical conditions, can I join group class?

I have osteoporosis, can I join group class?
Clients with osteoporosis are welcome to join the Essentials class. Please be sure to let your instructor know you have osteoporosis prior to class start.
I am pregnant, can I join group class?
At this time, we highly encourage pregnant clients to take private sessions wherever possible. Please call or text the studio at 727-772-6772 to go over what classes and times are safe and appropriate for pregnant clients.
What should I wear to Pilates?
Comfortable workout clothes that you can move easily in with no zippers, knots, ties or design features that would make it uncomfortable to lie on your back or stomach. We also recommend wearing Pilates grip socks to your first session. We do have them for sale here in the studio but any brand from any retailer is totally acceptable 😊 After one’s first introductory session (which can be done in bare feet), grip socks are REQUIRED for future sessions. Shoes and sneakers must be removed and stored in our cubbies before your workout.

Frequently Asked Questions
How early should I arrive?
On your first visit please arrive 10-15 minutes early so that you can fill out some brief paperwork and get settled.
What do I wear to Pilates?
I am not very flexible/strong, can I still do Pilates?
Absolutely! Pilates can help with flexibility but can be done by anyone regardless of flexibility/strength level. The Pilates system is divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced exercises to meet each client where they need to be met. We are equipped to serve anyone from those dealing with injuries and exercising formally for the first time in their 80s to elite athletes.
I am dealing with injuries/physical conditions, can I still do Pilates?
In the majority of cases, YES! The Pilates method really lends itself well to modification for a wide array of injuries and physical conditions. And our instructors are all trained in protocols for safely working with common injuries and conditions. Depending upon what the condition or injury is, we typically recommend clients stick to private sessions (as opposed to group classes). Where an injury is acute, we always recommend seeking the opinion of a medical professional and getting clearance before taking Pilates with us.
